Job summary

InPost Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to repair our parcel lockers on client sites across the UK, including maintenance, software configuration, and training for employees and subcontractors.

The role involves on-site fault diagnosis, hardware/software upgrades, documentation, and occasional travel within the UK and internationally; you'll work with international teams and travel when needed.

Qualifications

Experience in field service technical engineering on electrical/mechanical equipment.
Proficient in use of hand tools and diagnostic tools (multimeter).
Able to diagnose and repair equipment and configure software/firmware.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults of parcel locker machines on site to minimise downtime.
Maintain and modernise parcel locker machines with hardware/software upgrades.
Diagnose, reconfigure and install software/firmware for equipment.
Process and report repairs using internal communication channels.
Manage tools and components for parcel locker machines.
Handle systems for managing personnel-related matters.
Quality control of work by internal staff and subcontractors to standards.
Provide technical and substantive support to employees and subcontractors, including international ones.
Participate in developing solutions for new parcel locker types.
Prepare and update technical manuals and documentation.
