Monday – Friday (Days / 40 hours per week)

£28,000 – £32,000 + 25 days paid holiday + Overtime + Company Van + Fuel Card

Are you looking to start a career in the HGV or PSV maintenance industry? This Mobile Service Engineer (MSE) role is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical ability, hands‑on experience, or a background in fabrication, CNC, engineering, or similar technical work who is now looking to move into heavy vehicle servicing.

You will be joining an established engineering specialist in the HGV & PSV sector, receiving full training, support, and development. The role includes a company van, fuel card, guaranteed overtime, and opportunities to gain further industry qualifications.

Working closely with an experienced team, you will learn how to carry out emissions control work, fault diagnostics, mechanical repairs, campaign work, and general maintenance across a wide range of heavy vehicles. This is an ideal step for someone looking for long‑term progression in a stable, well‑supported engineering career.

The Role

Field‑based Mechanical Technician travelling to clients across Yorkshire

Full training provided in HGV / PSV maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and emissions control

Carrying out repairs, servicing, maintenance and mechanical support

Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week + paid overtime

Company van and fuel card included

The Person

A mechanically minded individual looking to move into the HGV / PSV industry

Backgrounds suited include fabrication, CNC machining, automotive, engineering, or hands‑on technical work

Eager to learn and develop new skills in vehicle servicing and diagnostics

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is helpful, but time‑served mechanical experience is also considered

Valid driving licence

Interested in starting a new career in 2026 with long‑term training and progression
