Job summary

Mettler Toledo UK is seeking a driven Field Sales Specialist - Thermal Analysis to grow sales, build strategic customer relationships, and deliver value-driven solutions across industries. You will work with sales, marketing, service and applications teams to strengthen our Thermal Analysis business.

The role requires proven technical sales experience, a background in thermal analysis or related disciplines, and strong account management skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within scientific instrumentation or related field.
• Background in Thermal Analysis, Materials Characterisation, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering desirable.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong account management and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve UK sales and growth targets within defined Thermal Analysis product areas.
• Drive sales force efficiency in line with targets and KPIs.
• Develop, maintain and execute account penetration plans for key customers.
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities and expand relationships.
• Use CRM and SET tools to manage pipeline and reporting.
• Deliver value through consultative selling and solution-based discussions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer projects.
• Organise and participate in customer visits, technical seminars and events.
