Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to drive sales growth in the South UK region, covering London, Cambridge, and Oxford. You will own a defined territory, grow key accounts, and develop new business opportunities while delivering solutions that improve process performance and compliance.

You will collaborate with technical, service, and sales colleagues, leveraging CRM tools and a full UK driving licence to meet quarterly and annual targets.

Qualifications

• Field-based sales experience in pharma, biotech, life sciences, or scientific instrumentation.
• Proven ability to win new business and grow accounts.
• Strong territory management and organizational skills.
• Experience communicating with scientists, lab managers, QA/QC teams, and stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or related field.
• Experience selling analytical instruments, lab equipment, or scientific solutions.
• Understanding pharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within designated key accounts and market sectors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
• Deliver against quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Create and execute account development plans.
• Work collaboratively with technical, service, and sales colleagues across the business.
• Utilise CRM and digital sales tools to manage opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities.
