Job summary

GEA Group is seeking an experienced Senior Product Support Engineer to join the Separation Equipment team in the UK. You will provide advanced technical support across the separation portfolio, act as the escalation point for complex issues, and work with Field Service Engineers, Sales, Projects and Workshop teams to deliver reliable service across the UK.

In this senior role you will lead troubleshooting, commissioning, performance optimisation and CBM activities, deliver training to engineers

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification gained through apprenticeship, degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience working with separation equipment in a Service Engineer or Technical Support role.
• Strong troubleshooting, commissioning and performance optimisation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals, and make sound engineering decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience delivering technical training is a plus.
• Knowledge of CBM or predictive maintenance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support across the separation equipment portfolio.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues and equipment breakdowns.
• Work with OEMs and engineering teams to develop solutions and resolve challenges.
• Support commissioning, optimisation and performance improvement of customer equipment.
• Review and triage technical tickets, escalating as needed.
• Identify recurring failures and provide reliability improvements.
• Lead complex service activities on site and remotely.
• Deliver technical training to engineers, service teams and customers.
• Support project installations with specialist expertise.
• Set up, monitor and analyse CBM systems and produce reports.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
