Job summary

Pyramid Eco is seeking a Resident Engagement Officer to be the first point of contact for residents awaiting energy efficiency upgrades. You will collect documents such as council tax bills and tenant consent forms to ensure funding and timely completion of projects.

The role requires personable, persuasive and resilient individuals who can explain retrofit benefits, answer questions and build trust, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Personable and persuasive interpersonal skills with residents.
• Resilience in handling objections and setbacks.
• Basic understanding of retrofit measures (insulation, panels, heat pumps).
• Strong communication; able to explain technical concepts simply.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation submission.
• Full UK driving licence required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents at their homes to explain the retrofit work and collect required documents.
• Ensure all paperwork (council tax bills, tenant consent forms) is completed and submitted on time.
• Answer residents' questions about retrofit work and benefits.
• Build trust and provide clear information about upcoming projects.
• Handle objections professionally and maintain a positive attitude during interactions.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth communication with residents.
