Job summary

Multitask Personnel are recruiting a Resident Liaison Officer for a Cambridge-based energy-saving retrofit project. The role is temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering PAYE £16.12 per hour or Umbrella £21.41 per hour.

You will act as the main contact between residents and the project team, ensuring residents are informed and supported throughout the works. The ideal candidate will have experience in resident liaison, social housing or property services,

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Experience within retrofit, planned maintenance, social housing or property services is advantageous.
• Confident dealing with residents face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with residents before, during and after planned works.
• Keep residents informed about upcoming works and appointments.
• Support residents throughout the programme and respond to queries or concerns.
• Build positive relationships with residents and the site team.
• Help resolve issues quickly and professionally and provide clear updates to the project team.
• Support the smooth delivery of energy-saving and retrofit works.

Multitask Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading property services contractor who is looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a planned maintenance project in Cambridge.

The project involves the delivery of energy-saving measures to residential properties, so previous experience within retrofit, planned maintenance, social housing or property services would be highly beneficial.

The role:

As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the main point of contact between residents and the project team, helping to make sure residents are kept informed and supported throughout the works.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaising with residents before, during and after planned works
• Keeping residents informed about upcoming works and appointments
• Supporting residents throughout the programme and responding to queries or concerns
• Building positive relationships with residents and the site team
• Helping to resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Providing clear updates to the wider project team
• Supporting the smooth delivery of energy-saving and retrofit works

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role
• Experience within retrofit, planned maintenance, social housing or property services would be an advantage
• Confident dealing with residents face-to-face and over the telephone
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to deal with sensitive situations calmly and professionally
• Comfortable working closely with operational and site-based teams
