Job summary

A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced external sales professional to grow our entertainment lighting business across the UK.

You’ll be on the road visiting rental companies, production houses, venues, integrators and end users to ensure AC-ET is the first call. Day to day you’ll manage and grow an existing customer base while developing new accounts, identifying opportunities and moving them from first conversation to securing the order.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable sales experience, ideally external/field sales in the entertainment tech industry.
• Solid working knowledge of entertainment lighting - fixtures, control and the basics of DMX and network-based distribution.
• Confident building long-term relationships and comfortable working to targets.
• Self-motivated and organised, with field-based discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience of rigging, staging or video products alongside lighting.
• Practical background in lighting - as a technician, programmer or crew.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing customer base while actively developing new accounts.
• Identify sales & project opportunities and work them through from first conversation to securing the order.
• Advise customers on suitable lighting solutions for their needs from our extensive portfolio of brands.
• Deliver site visits & product demonstrations, both on customer premises and at our Leeds & High Wycombe facilities.
• Represent AC-ET at trade shows, open days and industry events e.g. PLASA, PLASA Focus, BSC & ABTT Theatre Show.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and account records within our CRM system.
• Feed market intelligence back into our business to help shape our sales strategy.
