Job summary

A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced external sales professional to develop and grow our entertainment lighting business across the UK. You’ll be on the road, visiting rental companies, production companies and venues to understand their needs and secure orders.

Day to day you’ll manage and grow an existing customer base, identify opportunities, deliver product demonstrations at customer sites and our Leeds/High Wycombe facilities, and represent AC-ET at industry events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable sales experience within entertainment tech, AV or live events.
• Solid knowledge of entertainment lighting – fixtures, control, DMX basics.
• Confident in building long-term relationships and working to targets.
• Self-motivated and well organized, with field-based discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, with possible overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing UK customer base and develop new accounts.
• Identify sales and project opportunities from first contact to securing orders.
• Advise customers on suitable lighting solutions from AC-ET portfolio.
• Deliver site visits and product demos at customer premises and AC-ET facilities.
• Represent AC-ET at trade shows, open days and industry events.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and account records in our CRM system.
• Feed market intelligence back to shape sales strategy.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced external sales professional to develop and grow our entertainment lighting business across the UK.

You're be on the road and in front of customers - rental companies, production companies, venues, integrators, consultants & end users. You’ll be building relationships, understanding what they're specifying and buying and making sure that AC-ET is the first call that they make.

Day to day you'll:

Manage & grow an existing customer base, while actively developing new accounts.

Identify sales & project opportunities and work them through from first conversation to securing the order.

Advise customers on suitable lighting solutions for their needs, from our extensive portfolio of brands.

Deliver site visits & product demonstrations, both on customer premises and at our Leeds & High Wycombe state of the art demonstration facilities.

Represent AC-ET at trade shows, open days and industry events e.g. PLASA, PLASA Focus, BSC & the ABTT Theatre Show.

Maintain accurate pipeline and account records within our CRM system.

Feed market intelligence back into our business to help shape our sales strategy.

About you:

Demonstrable sales experience, ideally external/field sales within the entertainment technology, AV or live events industry/

Solid working knowledge of entertainment lighting - fixtures, control and the basics of DMX and network-based distribution.

Confident building long-term relationships & comfortable working to targets.

Self-motivated and well organised, with the discipline that comes with a field-based role.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays.

Right to work in the UK.

Existing contact network within the UK rental and production community.

Experience of rigging, staging or video products, alongside lighting.

Practical background in lighting - as a technician, programmer or crew.
