Job summary

SYSTEL UK is seeking an experienced Training Designer to deliver IT training to customers across the UK. You will design learning materials, develop schedules, and manage delivery across multiple sites, including remote and in-person sessions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in training and learning design or related field, plus at least five years of relevant experience, strong instructional design knowledge, and proficiency with e-learning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in training design or related field with at least five years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methods.
• Experience with learning materials design and development.
• Proficiency in delivering training and facilitating groups.
• Experience with e-learning solutions and training tools.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP, proxies, HTTP, VPNs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Understanding of safety regulations for training and health.

Responsibilities

• Analyse training needs and objectives, taking learners’ expectations and existing knowledge into account.
• Develop training schedules and delivery plans, including course duration, frequency, locations, external trainers and course structure.
• Design and update training materials, including learning modules, exercises, practical scenarios and the tools used.
• Deliver training to customers across the UK, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and the safety of people and property.
• Facilitate and manage group dynamics in both face-to-face and remote learning environments, including e-learning.
• Handle the associated administrative and legal formalities, including training agreements, attendance or completion certificates, and other relevant documentation.
• Keep up to date with developments in training methods and technology relevant to your area of expertise.
• Assess learners’ progress and monitor their development.
