Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the UK is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to design, develop and deliver technical training for Rail Infrastructure and related systems. You will update course material, including e-learning, and work with internal teams and external customers to tailor learning solutions.

The role requires liaising with senior trainers, staying current with new technologies, and participating in the delivery strategy for networks and CIS training across the business.

Qualifications

• Having a HNC in a STEM discipline, or equivalent engineering experience.
• Developing technical training materials, strategies and teaching / mentoring others.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Great organisation and time‑management skills, with the ability to work independently and in virtual teams.
• Installing and Jointing Cables (Copper or Fibre).
• Experience with video processing and transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and delivering technical training for Siemens Rail Infrastructure and other areas within Siemens Mobility.
• Creating and updating course material, including e‑learning content, to ensure alignment with new technologies and customer needs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external customers to identify training requirements and deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Supporting the senior trainers with the developed of responses to project bids.
• Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of training delivery and development.
