Job summary

A manufacturing organisation is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support across multiple locations. The role focuses on end-user support, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting operational technology within production and warehouse environments.

The role requires strong hardware diagnostic skills, knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, experience with ITIL-based service desks, and a willingness to travel across Yorkshire with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Proven hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Solid knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
Experience with ITIL-based service desks and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site IT support for users and devices across multiple sites.
Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
Support industrial and warehouse technology and devices.
Configure, deploy, replace and relocate IT equipment.
Assist with user onboarding, moves and leavers processes.
Maintain asset records and documentation.
Log and manage incidents via an ITSM platform.
Provide local support for IT projects, upgrades and deployments.
Escalate infrastructure, application, network, and security issues where appropriate.
