Job summary

Iron Service Global UK Ltd is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to deliver End User Services, workplace IT support, and IT/OT support across production environments.

You will handle onsite Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, laptops/desktops, and peripherals, manage asset lifecycles, and provide first-line support for MES and IoT/OT devices. Travel to nearby sites and on-call work are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of End User Support/OSS experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or mill environments preferred.
• Experience in EUS, onsite support, and IT/OT integrated environments is desirable.
• A valid driving license; travel to nearby sites may be required.
• Ability to travel independently where public transport is limited.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to work on-call and in high-pressure support environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite technical support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, tablets and peripherals.
• Manage IMACD activities, hardware life cycle, asset tracking and inventory.
• Provide first-line support for production workstations, MES and IoT/OT devices.
• Troubleshoot LAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, VPN, hardware, connectivity and cabling issues.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, OT/Automation teams and vendors.
• Assist with incident, problem, change, vendor and major incident activities.
