Focal Systems is expanding its UK operations and seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete installations for customers across Glasgow and Scotland West. This role involves overnight site visits, installation of camera hardware, and ensuring deployments meet our standards.

You will work a 6-month fixed-term contract, minimum 20 hours per week, with potential extension. A valid UK driving licence and reliable transport are required to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in install/maintenance roles.
• Strong technical aptitude for diagnosing hardware issues.
• Ability to safely use power tools on customer sites.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware: mounting, wiring, and configuring per standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain accurate installation records using company tools and systems.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely to complete installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols to minimise risks during visits.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely installs.
• Meet quality standards and KPI targets for speed and accuracy.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
