Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to complete installations for customers in Cardiff and surrounding areas. The role involves overnight work, installation of camera hardware, and ensuring deployments align with our standards.

This fixed-term contract runs for six months, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a valid UK driving licence required. You will travel to customer sites, meet safety KPIs, and collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience or installation work.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware and configure at sites.
• Respond quickly to installation requests and meet SLAs.
• Record installation work, parts used and time spent with tools.
• Onboard products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely during installations.
• Follow safety protocols during visits.
• Collaborate with team to finish installations on time.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in tasks.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for speed and quality.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
