Job summary

Circet in Langholm (DG13) is seeking a Service Delivery Technician to carry out fibre installations and repairs in outdoor environments. You will organise schedules, survey sites, test installations and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a clean UK driving licence, a DBS check, and strong customer-facing communication. The role involves travel and a 40-hour week with some Saturdays, and full training is provided for telecoms experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing and communication skills across technical levels.
• Physically capable of demanding fieldwork including outdoor work.
• Full clean UK manual driving licence.
• DBS check required.
• Telecoms experience preferred; full training provided for the right candidate.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly work schedule to ensure timely Fibre installations and repairs.
• Work outdoors in a physically demanding role and potentially adverse weather conditions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service with residents, clients and third-party stakeholders.
• Perform full Fibre installations, including surveying, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility and provide risk assessments.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Adhere to Circet safety standards and proactively address field risks.
• Resolve client and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
