Job summary

Motorola Solutions, a leader in critical communications, seeks a multi skilled Field Operations Engineer to service the Airwave network across the South Wales and Mid West regions. You will perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and site upgrades with regular travel and on-call duties.

Ideal candidates have RF and transmission network experience, climbing ability, a full UK driving licence, and readiness to travel. The role offers career development and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF and transmission networks.
• Proficient in antenna/ODU replacement and feeder termination.
• Familiarity with RF test gear (Anritsu Site Master).
• Able to work at height and travel across regions.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel."

Responsibilities

• Respond to network incidents and NOC alerts; participate in 1 in 4 on-call rota.
• Perform planned maintenance, inspections and fault diagnosis on Airwave network equipment.
• Maintain and operate microwave transmission equipment and troubleshoot faults.
• Carry out site upgrades, installations and related project work.
• Rigging and climbing tasks including antenna replacement and tests.
