Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the UK seeks a Field Engineer to maintain and fault-find on the Airwave TETRA network, including transmission systems and control rooms within the South West region.

You will receive training and equipment to perform network maintenance, be responsible for quick fault resolution, and ensure 24/7 geographic coverage. The role requires working at height and travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience with TETRA networks and transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to network incidents and perform fault diagnosis and repair.
• Operate and maintain the Airwave TETRA network and transmission systems.
• 1st and 2nd line fault diagnosis and escalation as needed.
• Rigging and climbing tasks including antenna replacement.
• Plan daily/weekly workload and coordinate with scheduling for site access and repairs.
