Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer based in the South West of England (Devon/Cornwall) with travel across the region. You will maintain the Airwave TETRA network, perform fault diagnosis, and conduct planned maintenance on base sites and control rooms.
Climbing, antenna/ODU work, and on-call duties are essential. The role requires knowledge of transmission systems, LoS, and working at height; a valid UK driving license is essential.

As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and fault finding/resolution on the Airwave TETRA network which includes transmission systems and Police, Fire and Ambulance control rooms within the Region. Engineers are provided with the training and equipment necessary to perform network maintenance. It is the engineer’s responsibility to maintain and refresh these skills.
Ideal Location: Based in Devon or Cornwall, with a requirement for travel across the South West of England and the flexibility to travel further as needed.

If an assessment is failed, the company will adhere to government guidelines regarding a return to full duties. Be sufficiently trained and capable of implementing the measures identified in designated processes, procedures, or risk assessments.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility is required during the recruitment process.
Ideally hold current UK Security Clearance (SC) and NPPV3, OR be willing to undergo security vetting following a Baseline Personnel Security Screening (BPSS) check. You must be a resident of the UK for a minimum of 5 years to go through these clearances.
