Job summary

Redline Group Ltd invites applications for a Field Sales Engineer covering West Midlands & South West England. The role is field-based with regular UK travel, selling advanced RF, microwave and electronic technology solutions to defence, aerospace, telecoms and satellite sectors.

You will build long-term customer relationships, identify new commercial opportunities and support customers throughout the sales lifecycle with technical guidance and tailoring solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within technical sales or field sales engineering.
• Background within RF, microwave, electronics or telecommunications.
• Strong RF/microwave knowledge and ability to translate technical needs into commercial solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across defence, aerospace, telecommunications, satellite communications and advanced electronics markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, engineering teams, procurement and key accounts.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations and site visits within the region.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and support commercial negotiations to secure profitable opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support solution development and technical feasibility assessments.
• Manage customers throughout the full sales lifecycle from enquiry to delivery.
