Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Inc. is seeking a multi-skilled Field Operations Engineer to operate and maintain Airwave base stations, microwave transmission, and related control room elements within SLAs to ensure uninterrupted service.

You will travel across South Wales, perform rigging and climbing tasks, carry out fault diagnostics, and participate in proactive planning and health and safety procedures. Training and a strong benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF and transmission networks required.
• Climbing and rigging experience is essential.
• Ability to replace antennas and ODUs and terminate feeders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Airwave Base Stations and Microwave Transmission equipment.
• Provide 1st/2nd line fault diagnosis and resolve faults within SLAs.
• Rigging, climbing, and site access planning for maintenance tasks.
• Plan workload and coordinate with scheduling to ensure timely repairs and inspections.
