Job description

• Responsible for fiber optics network field activity, Long haul and metro, Transport and Routers
• Implementation of long haul and metro network augmentation, coordination and installation
• Work with Network Planning to provide Field perspective to network deployment as well as to provide expertise in deployments.
• Organize projects with contractors and internal staff
• Qualifications: travel by car and/or plane 20%+of time, remote office the rest of the time, at least 5+ years' experience on telecommunication networks

  • Experience in the use of optical test equipment: power meters, OTDRs, OSAs, and interpretation of test results
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
