Job summary

Orbit Credit Services is seeking a Field Collections Agent to visit customers at their homes in Newport and surrounding areas, helping them find workable solutions for arrears and finances.

You will assess options, discuss repayment plans, and update outcomes using Orbit-issued iPad, while delivering empathetic, practical guidance. A driving licence and car are required to perform field visits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Must have access to a vehicle.
• Able to travel within Newport and nearby area.
• Experience in field/collections is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve arrears and discuss payment options.
• Handle accounts for regulated and non-regulated clients.
• Accept payments and set up repayment plans.
• Re-engage customers with client services.
• Update outcomes using Orbit iPad in real time.

You’ll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.Your key responsibilities:Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment optionsHandle accounts for both regulated and non-regulated clients. This will include reconnection visitsAccept payments, set up repayment plans, and re-engage customers with client servicesEducate customers about the potential consequences of non-paymentUse an Orbit-supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real timeWorking HoursWe offer a 40-hour workweek with a supportive approach to work-life balance.
