Job summary

Orbit Credit Services is seeking a Field Collections Agent to meet customers at their homes within the Gloucester area, offering empathy, guidance, and practical solutions to help manage finances.

You will visit customers to discuss payment options, set up repayment plans, and update outcomes on an Orbit-supplied iPad. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required, with a 40-hour week and flexible shifts including peak times.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve arrears and discuss payment options.
• Handle accounts for regulated and non-regulated clients, including reconnection visits.
• Accept payments and set up repayment plans.
• Educate customers about consequences of non-payment.
• Update account outcomes in real time using Orbit-supplied iPad.

Location: Within a 90-minute travel radius of your home (applicants must reside within Gloucester)

Salary: From £28,665 + £4,200 per annum car allowance + uncapped monthly bonus as a guide our current Field team earn monthly bonuses of up to £400

Earnings Potential: Up to £35,765 per year (inclusive of car allowance)

Hours: Flexible, 40 hours per week (including peak shifts)

About The Role

As a Field Collections Agent, you'll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You’ll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options
• Handle accounts for both regulated and non-regulated clients. This will include reconnection visits
• Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re-engage customers with client services
• Educate customers about the potential consequences of non-payment
• Use an Orbit-supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time

Working Hours

We Offer a 40-hour Workweek With a Supportive Approach To Work-life Balance. Your Visits Will Be Scheduled Across The Following Operating Window

• Monday-Friday visiting times are between 8am-8pm
• A number of shift pattern options available, you can choose between a 4 day or 5 day working week.

Requirements

• Clear criminal record
• No CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcies in the last 6 years
• Full driving licence (max 6 points), own car, and will require business insurance
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working independently
• At Orbit we’re regulated by our clients - as such, any successful candidates will have to undergo a basic credit check and criminal background check.
