Job summary

Agincare in Worthing is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to support clients and lead care teams in delivering safe, person-centred care within the community. You will act as a key contact for clients and staff, ensuring high-quality care and compliance on a day-to-day basis.

We offer up to £28,000 per annum pro rata, mileage at 32p per mile, and funded training up to QCF Level 5. A full UK driving licence and supervisory experience in social care are essential, with some weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable supervisory experience in social care

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for day-to-day support for allocated clients and staff.
• Monitor and check health and well-being of clients and staff using visits, calls and care records.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments of care needs and manage risk to reflect person-centred plans.
• Safeguard clients against abuse and ensure staff receive training and support to deliver safe care.
• Conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to support development.
• Prepare for on-call duties and occasional weekend work.

What is required from you?

• Demonstrable experience in the social care sector at a supervisory level

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records. You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred. You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues. You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development. The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
