Job summary

Agincare Weymouth in Worthing is looking for a Field Care Supervisor to support clients and lead care teams, delivering person-centred care in the community. You will be the main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information, ensuring visits and records reflect needs and quality standards.

The role requires a UK driving licence, 40 hours per week, supervisory experience in social care, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Demonstrable experience in the social care sector at a supervisory level.
• Well organised and self-motivated.
• 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and guidance to clients and staff.
• Conduct assessments and re-assessments of care needs and risk management.
• Ensure care plans reflect client needs and safeguard against abuse.
• Supervise staff through regular reviews and support training, with on-call duties.
• May involve weekend work and on-call responsibilities.

A day in the life of a Field Care Supervisor

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records. You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred. You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues. You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development. The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
