Job summary

Cera is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our team in the community. You will lead care delivery, create care plans, assess clients, and shadow carers to ensure quality in care.

The role is 75-95% field-based with 25-5% office admin. You will work across our expanding, technology-enabled care service and help us deliver compassionate support to vulnerable clients.

Qualifications

• Proven work history in care is required.
• Excellent knowledge of the care sector.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Fully flexible and organised.
• NVQ desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise carers and ensure delivery of safe, quality care.
• Complete meet & greet of all new packages.
• Complete care plans and reviews; conduct risk assessments.
• Carry out carer spot checks and field supervisions; audits of MAR charts.
• Attend provider meetings and support business opportunities.
• Be hands-on with carers and participate in after-hours on-call.

Position: Field Care Supervisor

Reporting to: Registered Manager

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5hrs per week

Salary: £26,250 per annum

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate Field Care Supervisor to become an ambassador for Cera and an extension of our family. You'll carry out initial introductions, construct care plans, conduct client assessments, and shadow Care Workers to monitor the provision of care in terms of quality. It will involve 75/95% of time out in the field and 25/5% in the office for administrative tasks. We have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UK's fastest growing technology-enabled care provider.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the ongoing supervision on carers
• Ensuring customers' requirements are met
• Ensure your team are skilled and able to deliver a safe quality of care
• Complete meet & greet of all new packages
• Local knowledge of area
• Complete care plans and reviews of them
• Risk assessments
• Audits of MAR charts and Log books
• Complete carer spot checks and field supervisions
• Conducting Carer Interviews and supporting with compliance
• Attend provider meetings and support with business opportunities
• Hands on carer
• Take part in Out of hours on call
• Engage in team meetings
