Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Croydon and the surrounding South West region for a capital equipment supplier. This field-based role focuses on developing existing accounts while winning new business, with full training provided.

You will manage a sales pipeline, deliver customer surveys and proposals, negotiate terms, and represent an established international organisation. Basic £40,000 plus commission and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B field sales experience across a defined territory.
• Track record of developing and winning business in a field-based role.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with existing customers across your territory.
• Identify and target prospective customers and new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer and prospect visits.
• Understand customers' requirements and recommend equipment solutions.
• Carry out customer site surveys to establish equipment needs.
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations.
• Present recommendations and solutions to customers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and convert opportunities into orders.
• Manage your sales pipeline and maintain regular communications with prospects.
• Coordinate administration related to customer orders.
• Develop understanding of local market, competitors and potential customers.
