Job summary

LG Electronics U.K. Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer (Field Based) to support Home Entertainment products across the UK. The role involves coordinating the ASC network, monitoring performance, and developing repair capacity while travelling.

Ideal candidates have over 5 years of field repair experience, strong data reporting skills, and a clean UK driving licence. The position offers opportunities to improve service quality and network effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years field repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of consumer electronics markets.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to analyse service data such as RTAT.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide and hold a clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact between major ASC repair companies and LG Electronics U.K.
• Monitor, report and influence ASC performance.
• Develop the repair network as required.
• Develop KPI reporting from ASC's.
• Ensure ASC performance against contracts and KPIs.
• Understand and react to service scorecard results.
• Be proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
• Identify and onboard new ASC's as needed.
• Serve as single point of contact for ASC network.
• Review and rationalise small repairers.
• Collaborate with WIP team to facilitate efficient job management.
• Support other service colleagues as needed.
