Sammons Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Technical Sales Representative for a field-based role covering the UK Midlands region. You will develop new business, manage existing customer relationships, and provide technical advice to match solutions to customer applications.

The role requires a proactive, independent sales professional with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel extensively to customer sites and distributors across the UK.

Competenze

• Previous experience in technical sales is essential.
• Experience within abrasives, tooling, coatings, industrial consumables or a similar technical environment would be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop business.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Mansioni

• Manage and develop sales across an allocated UK territory
• Identify and convert new business opportunities
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and distributors
• Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer requirements
• Carry out product demonstrations, trials and customer site visits
• Support and develop relationships with distribution partners
• Identify opportunities to improve customer processes and product performance
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for business growth
