Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Business Manager based in the Midlands region with UK and international travel. The role focuses on developing and managing the UK customer base for high-value machinery and related services.

Responsibilities include managing key accounts, developing opportunities, and aligning with European teams to meet customer requirements. A permanent, Monday–Friday position offers £50,000–£60,000 plus car and commission scheme.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced technical sales professional with a track record in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience selling complex, high-value technical products or equipment is essential.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of longer sales cycles is needed.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing manufacturing and engineering customers across the UK.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and support market growth.
• Visit customers regularly to understand current and future requirements and investment plans.
• Sell complete machinery, additional equipment, options and technology upgrades.
• Develop opportunities for spare parts, tooling, maintenance and repair services.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, enquiries and sales opportunities.
• Establish pricing frameworks and commercial arrangements with key customers where appropriate.
• Maintain regular contact with customers throughout long sales cycles and update on products and opportunities.
• Work with European teams to support customer requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturing on capacity, workload and delivery timescales.
