Job summary

RES Limited is seeking a Field Based Technical Sales Engineer to cover East England. You will survey sites, design heat pump solutions, produce quotations and support installers and homeowners. A consultative approach is essential to translate technical data into actionable guidance.

The role involves travel, occasional overnight stays, and a company car with excellent benefits. Full-time, permanent employment with 42.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent qualification.
• Formal training in heat pump design and installation (LCL/BPEC).
• Proven ability to translate technical data for non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical site surveys and agree system specifications with installers/homeowners.
• Produce on-site quotations and commission Air Source Heat Pump systems.
• Provide remote technical support and maintain CRM records.
• Act as Nominated Technical Supervisor for MCS projects and ensure compliance.
• Travel to sites around East England with occasional overnight stays.
