Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager in the Preston area with UK travel. The role focuses on winning new customers, growing existing accounts, and expanding presence across the UK.

A salary of £35,000 with realistic OTE of £55,000 plus benefits supports a proactive, field-based selling approach. You will identify prospects, build relationships with decision-makers, and convert opportunities into profitable sales, while managing CRM and pipeline to drive

Qualifications

• Active in identifying prospects and converting opportunities.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel UK-wide and manage a field-based territory.
• Comfortable presenting to decision-makers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers across target UK markets.
• Prospect via telephone, email, LinkedIn and industry events.
• Arrange and conduct customer visits throughout the UK.
• Understand hydraulic requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Reactivate dormant accounts and grow share of wallet.
• Maintain an accurate CRM and sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to close deals.
