Job summary

SER Limited, a well-established hydraulic specialist, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to cover North & Mid Wales. You will support two or three centres in your patch, identifying new leads and helping to increase area turnover.

The role offers £40,000 base with OTE £55,000, plus 21 days holiday, a company car, health care and a pension, with extensive training and support from experienced industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering environment is essential.
• Understanding of hydraulic hose replacement is a plus.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Hungry, committed with career focus.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company. Established over 35 years ago they provide hydraulic support across the UK & Ireland with over 75 centres enabling them to provide a fantastic service. Due to recent exciting investments, they are looking to grow and develop their sales team by hiring an energetic, driven Business Development Manager to cover the North Wales area. As a Business Development Manager covering this area you will work directly for my client and support two or three centres in your patch helping to establish new leads and increase area turnover.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Identifying new business opportunities including markets and clients.
• Building relationships with new and established clients.
• Gathering an understanding of clients needs to be able to provide the best service.
• Complete and maintain relevant records accurately.
• Liaise with various internal centres to support their needs and increase sales.
• Manage sales life cycles and maintain up to date knowledge of clients, market movements, trends and data.

• Understanding of Hydraulic hose replacement process is a benefit.
• Experience within an engineering environment is a must.

• Previous BDM or field-based experience is a benefit but not essential.
