Job summary

Flagship Housing is hiring a Housing Officer to manage a portfolio of tenancy cases, delivering proactive tenancy management and supporting customers to sustain their tenancies in their homes.

Field-based across Mid and East Suffolk, this permanent role with a company vehicle offers a part-time schedule (37 hpw) and opportunities to improve outcomes for individuals and communities through collaborative housing services.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive tenancy management and support to customers.
• Build strong relationships with tenants to help sustain tenancy.
• Identify customer needs and connect to appropriate support services.
• Manage cases involving safeguarding concerns, hoarding, property conditions and wellbeing.
• Support customers in complex circumstances, including those needing extra support.
• Investigate tenancy breaches and potential tenancy fraud cases.
• Ensure services comply with housing legislation and policies.
• Work with Housing Manager and teams to deliver a customer-focused service.
