Flagship Housing is seeking a Housing Officer to sustain tenancies and deliver proactive tenancy management with empathy and professionalism. You’ll handle a varied caseload, resolve housing issues, and work with colleagues to provide high-quality housing services.

Field-based role covering Mid and East Suffolk, from Lowestoft to Woodbridge, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Permanent contract includes a company vehicle and competitive pay.

Responsabilités

• Providing proactive tenancy management and support to customers.
• Building relationships with tenants to help them sustain their tenancy.
• Identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate support services.
• Managing cases involving safeguarding concerns, hoarding, property condition issues and customer wellbeing.
• Supporting customers in complex circumstances requiring additional support.
• Investigating and managing tenancy breaches and potential tenancy fraud cases.
• Ensuring services are delivered in line with housing legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Working closely with Housing Manager and internal teams to deliver a customer-focused service.

Location: Field based - Mid and East Suffolk - Lowestoft to Woodbridge and surrounding areas.

Hours: Part Time - 37 hpw - Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent + company vehicle

What You'll Be Doing

As a Housing Officer, you'll manage a portfolio of tenancy cases and work collaboratively with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent housing services. Your responsibilities will include:

• providing proactive tenancy management and support to customers.
• building strong relationships with tenants and helping them sustain their tenancy.
• identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate support services.
• managing cases involving safeguarding concerns, hoarding, property condition issues and customer wellbeing.
• supporting customers experiencing complex circumstances, including those requiring additional support.
• investigating and managing tenancy breaches and potential tenancy fraud cases.
• ensuring services are delivered in line with housing legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
• working closely with your Housing Manager and internal teams to deliver a customer-focused service.
