Zusammenfassung

Solo Housing is seeking an experienced Housing & Support Delivery Officer to join our team in the Stowmarket area on an initial contract basis. You will manage a varied caseload, delivering tenancy support and person-led services to customers, helping them sustain accommodation and progress toward independence.

You will maintain records, manage rent-related issues, and work with our Property Services team to resolve repairs while upholding health and safety, safeguarding and KPI-driven

• Experience of housing management within social housing environments.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Holistic, person-led support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence with professional boundaries.
• Strong organizational skills and workload management.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in social housing.
• Good IT skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Willingness to undertake DBS checks and professional development.

Aufgaben

• Deliver meaningful support planning and regular keywork sessions with customers.
• Support customers to maintain their tenancy and make positive changes.
• Help customers access relevant services and engage with their local community.
• Carry out sign-ups, settling-in visits and routine tenancy visits.
• Manage tenancy issues, including rent arrears and service charges.
• Address anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.
• Undertake legal casework when required (e.g., debt recovery, eviction).
• Carry out property inspections and compliance checks.
• Identify and report repairs; coordinate with Property Services to resolve.
• Minimise empty homes and re-let properties quickly.
• Maintain accurate records of contact, support plans and activity.
• Champion Health & Safety and Adult Safeguarding.
• Work towards agreed KPIs and commissioned outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, commissioners and external stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality reports and maintain clear communication.
• Support colleagues across the wider business.
• Participate in Solo’s On-Call service.
