Structural Metal Decks (SMD) seeks a proactive Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities across the UK, with Midlands-based office and nationwide travel. You will build relationships with contractors, developers and key decision-makers, identify opportunities, and manage a dynamic sales pipeline.

Qualifications

Experience in construction sales or business development.
Proven track record of generating new business.
Knowledge of structural steel or metal decking is advantageous.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers and key decision-makers.
Plan and manage diary, customer visits and meetings to maximise opportunities.
Promote SMD's products and technical capabilities to prospective customers.
Research market activity and opportunities to add value and win work.
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline information.
