Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to expand our client's presence in the construction and B2B markets across the South of the UK. This field-based role requires building relationships, identifying opportunities, and guiding projects from initial contact to delivery.

You will work with Estimating, Project Management, QS and Engineering teams to ensure opportunities are correctly scoped, priced, negotiated and delivered, liaising with contractors and end users.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales/business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships within construction and B2B sectors.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of future projects.
• Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.
• Visit construction sites, offices and client premises.
• Build relationships with main contractors, Tier 1/Tier 2 contractors, M&E contractors, developers, consultants and end users.
• Work with the Estimating team on competitive, commercially viable quotations.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order; support commercial negotiations with QS to secure profitable deals.
• Maintain regular contact throughout tender and pre-construction.
• Keep CRM and BD pipeline up to date; report on performance metrics.
• Represent the business at industry/networking events.
