Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established engineering consultancy, covering the Southern region of the UK. You will own your sales territory, build long-term customer relationships and drive sustainable growth.

The role is field-based with a competitive base plus commission, company car or allowance, and generous holiday. Strong prospecting and proposal skills are essential to win new work.

Qualifications

Experience in Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction, Heavy Industry.
Proven sales experience, with a track record of managing sales pipeline.
Self-motivated, organised, commercially focused, and able to work autonomously.
Proficient IT and presentation skills.
Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

Identify commercial opportunities and manage/grow existing relationships in sales region.
Promote and participate in company visits to other facilities.
Present quotations and follow up by leading tender process.
Work with SLT to set and monitor sales targets.
Monitor market trends and gather market intelligence.
Work closely with Proposals Department to ensure quality quotations.
