Job summary

T2P Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Logistics and Supply Chain sector in the Southern territory. This field-based, UK-wide role covers the South of England and South Midlands, with base salary of £45,000 plus a 10% annual bonus, a company car, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will hunt for new business, identify opportunities, and convert conversations into commercial relationships across FMCG, retail, manufacturing and logistics sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in new business development.
• Experience selling within logistics, supply chain or related sectors.
• Able to travel across Southern Territory; field-based role.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new customers across the Southern Territory.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Generate leads via cold outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn and market research.
• Arrange customer meetings and site visits with key decision-makers.
• Develop relationships with procurement, operations and senior commercial leaders.
• Understand customers' supply chain challenges and present tailored solutions.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate agreements through to close.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and forecast/pipeline.
• Manage your diary and territory with autonomy.
