Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a field-based, high-value B2B sales role in the UK. You will generate new business, engage C-suite and HR leaders, and drive revenue growth through consultative, value-based selling.

Expect a strong compensation package with £60,000 base salary plus £30,000 top-up and realistic OTE around £155,000 per year, plus a car allowance or premium vehicle option and quarterly incentives for over-achieving revenues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful field-based B2B business development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in value-based selling rather than transactional pitching.
• Ability to navigate diverse corporate environments and engage varied audiences.
• Full UK driving license and ability to manage field-based schedule.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales execution: attend face-to-face appointments and generate leads.
• Strategic market development: identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Pipeline management: forecast and manage a robust sales pipeline for quarterly growth.
• Stakeholder engagement: build rapport with C-suite executives, HR Directors, and business owners.
