Job summary

T2P Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the Southern Territory from Luton to the South Midlands. This field-based role requires a talent for winning new customers and developing business from scratch.

You’ll target organisations across FMCG, retail, manufacturing and logistics, build a strong pipeline, and arrange meetings with senior decision-makers to drive commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven ability to identify and win new business in a field-based role.
Experience selling in logistics, supply chain or related sectors is a plus.
Strong prospecting and pipeline management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Identify and target new customers across your territory.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Generate leads via cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn and market research.
Arrange customer meetings and site visits.
Develop relationships with procurement and senior decision-makers.
Understand customers' supply chain and operational challenges, present tailored solutions.
Prepare proposals and negotiate agreements.
Manage opportunities from initial contact to close.
Maintain CRM, forecasting and pipeline information.
