Job summary

IPA Supplies Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for a field-based role with national travel. The position offers a competitive £50,000–£55,000 basic salary with an OTE of £100k+ and a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car, pension, laptop, and mobile phone.

Base location is Leeds area, with home and field-based working. You will own the end-to-end new business cycle, from prospecting to closing, targeting multi-site organisations across the North of England.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning significant B2B new business.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience starting from a cold prospect.
• Ability to prospect independently and develop persuasive commercial proposals.
• Experience handling longer and more complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and target high-value prospective customers.
• Generate own new-business opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
• Identify tender opportunities and secure meetings with senior decision-makers.
• Develop compelling commercial proposals and presentations.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and close.
• Negotiate pricing while protecting margin and build stakeholder relationships.
