Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Based Business Development Manager to drive growth in parcels, logistics and e-commerce across Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will hunt new accounts, build a qualified pipeline and own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing, autonomously developing your territory.

The package includes a basic salary of £50,000–£60,000, a £6,000 car allowance, fuel allowance and a quarterly bonus scheme with realistic year-one earnings of around

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development or field sales.
• Experience in logistics, parcels, courier, fulfilment or e-commerce advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to generate opportunities through proactive outreach.

Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers.
• Deliver presentations and commercial proposals.
