Job summary

JCA Recruitment Specialists is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to promote and sell services to insurance organisations, vehicle dealerships, and body shops within a defined territory.

This field-based role offers a high degree of autonomy, a strong earnings potential with £50,000 base salary and £80,000–£85,000 OTE, plus a company car and a comprehensive benefits package. You will inherit an established client base and receive full training and support.

Qualifications

• 3 years proven B2B field sales experience.
• Track record in account management and new business development.
• Experience selling products, services, or solution-based offerings.
• Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
• Experience working towards and achieving KPIs and sales targets.
• Excellent communication, questioning, and listening skills.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• A solid understanding of the sales process and value-based selling.
• Candidates from all sales backgrounds will be considered, provided they can demonstrate field sales success.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a well-established, high-performing sales territory.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and maximise account growth.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Deliver solution-led sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
• Manage your own diary and workload effectively.
• Grow the territory towards a 60% account management and 40% new business.
• Work closely with a supportive and approachable management team.
• Focus on field sales activities with no telesales responsibilities.
• Utilise the company's excellent sales support infrastructure to drive success.
