SeeAbility in Maidstone, Kent is seeking a Female Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss live independent lives. You will support daily routines, plan activities, and build trusting relationships to boost confidence.

This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with guaranteed hours, paid training and sleep-in payments. A full UK manual driving licence and the right to work in the UK are required.

Salary: £13.09 per hour (£25,525.50 per annum) plus benefits. Sleep-ins are compulsory in this role and paid at £50.00 per sleep.

Hours: 37.5 hours guaranteed – stability you can count on

About Loose Road — Who Will You Support?

Our supported living service in Loose, Kent is home to six fantastic young women with learning disabilities, autism and visual impairments. We support each person to live as independently as possible, make their own choices and enjoy the things that matter most to them.

No two days are the same. You could be supporting someone to learn a new recipe, get creative with arts and crafts, go swimming, travel into London, attend work, meet friends or even enjoy a day at a theme park.

The ladies we support have big personalities, varied interests and ambitious goals. It’s a warm, welcoming service where laughter is never in short supply and every day brings new opportunities to make a difference.

Flexibility is important as shifts vary to meet the needs of the people we support. Once you’ve completed your training, you’ll also take part in sleep‑in shifts, which are paid separately from your contracted hours.
