Job summary

SeeAbility is seeking a Female Support Worker in Sittingbourne to provide person-centered care to people with learning disabilities and autism. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, guaranteed hours, and sleep-ins paid.

You will support daily routines, plan activities, and help people live fuller, more independent lives, with training and a friendly, values-led team. A full UK manual driving licence and the right to live and work in the UK are required.

• Salary: £13.09 per hour (£25,525.50 per annum) plus benefits. Sleep‑ins are compulsory in this role and paid at £50.00 per sleep.
• Hours: 37.5 hours guaranteed – stability you can count on
• Contract: Permanent
• Driving Licence: Full manual UK licence essential

Supporting CB – full of music, laughter and fun

CB is a friendly young woman with learning disabilities and epilepsy who loves music, being around people and having a laugh. You'll use Makaton and picture cards to communicate, support with personal care and help her enjoy the activities she loves most. Every day is an opportunity to bring positivity, encouragement and a smile.

Supporting AH – active, creative and always on the go

AH enjoys a busy and varied lifestyle, from farm work and gardening to arts and crafts and hydrotherapy sessions. You'll support her to take part in the things she enjoys, build her independence and make the most of every opportunity. A calm, patient approach and confidence driving are essential for this role.

What we're looking for

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and epilepsy
• Knowledge of PEG feeding and Positive Behaviour Support
• A full UK driving licence
• A caring, resilient and positive attitude
• Someone who enjoys supporting people to live the life they choose

• Supporting with day‑to‑day routines, from getting ready in the morning to winding down at the end of the day
• Planning and taking part in fun activities that match each person's interests and goals
