Job summary

SeeAbility is seeking a Female Support Worker in Herne Bay to help with daily routines and activities, enabling the person supported to live as independently as possible. This role emphasizes patience, consistency and care within a values-led team.

You will be part of a friendly, experienced team, with guaranteed hours, paid training, and access to Stream pay for on-demand earnings. A full UK manual driving licence and good English are important.

Female Support Worker – Make Every Day Matter

Location: Herne Bay, Kent

Salary: £13.09 per hour (£25,525.50 per annum) plus benefits.

Hours: 37.5 hours guaranteed – stability you can count on

Contract: Permanent

Driving Licence: Full manual UK licence essential

Hi, I'm a young woman living in my own home in Herne Bay. I have autism, mild learning disabilities and some complex health needs, and I'm looking for caring, calm and confident Support Workers to join my small team.

This is a chance to build a genuine relationship and support me to live the life I choose. I enjoy shopping trips, spending time at home, learning new skills and getting out in my local community. I appreciate people who are kind, reliable, patient and can share a laugh with me along the way.

Some days I may need extra reassurance, understanding or a little space, so consistency and a calm approach are really important. In return, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference while supporting me to grow in confidence and independence.

You’ll never be on your own. You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team and will receive support from specialist colleagues, including behaviour supports professionals, to help you succeed in your role.
