Female Support Worker
Pay rate : £13 per hour
Shift Pattern : 08.00-16.00, 20.00-08.00, 10.00-17.00
We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Leigh and has DiGeorge syndrome, which affects their learning, behaviour, speech, hearing, and physical health, including some heart issues. Despite these challenges, they have a huge capacity for love and enjoyment, and we're seeking someone who can share in their passions and interests.
They love nothing more than baking, being read to, and listening to their Tonie box - they're particularly fond of country music. Snuggling up to watch Disney films is another favourite pastime. As a key part of their support team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in their life. We'll be looking for someone who can bring enriching activities and experiences to the table, as well as a compassionate and empathetic approach that puts their needs and desires at the forefront.
